Exploring a city when it’s raining is possible. But you need to fit in some breaks inside to get dry again. Besucherzentrum Welterbe does not only offer a roof over your head but it also combines your break with a quick historical introduction to the old town of Regensburg which is part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage.
The multimedia exhibition offers texts, film, interactive walls… history is fun here! And the Besucherzentrum Welterbe is situated in the historical building right between the Old Stone Bridge and the famous Wurstküche. So it’s not only an option for rainy days – it’s actually easy to make a stop there and get your dose of information as you almost certainly will cross the Old Stone Bridge at least once when you are in Regensburg
Last but not least the extra-bonus: entering the exhibition is for free. And it’s open every day from 10 am to 7 pm. Do you need to know more to be convinced?
